Traffic Jam on the Chicago River

Passenger traffic seems to have really picked up on the Chicago River this year.  In this photo, taken in warmer days, we can see three boats vying for space at the same dock.  One wants to pick up passengers, one wants to unload, and the yellow one in the back wants to do both. Leonidas has put up a sign in the vacant space at the base of The Chicagoan promising to bring Belgian chocolate delicacies to downtown Chicago.  It’s opening in what was formerly a Bank of America branch at 59 East Chicago Avenue.  The store is expected to open in time for Christmas with a selection of choccies imported from Brussels.
