Morse Code Balconies

What do you think of when you see this picture of the haphazardly-arranged balconies on 235 Van Buren (235 West Van Buren Street)?  Wouldn’t it be great if there was a hidden message in this seemingly random piece of architecture?

What if you could convert the balconies into dots and dashes and play it to someone who knows Morse Code?  What would it say?

What if you could copy the balconies onto a the grooves of a plastic disc, and play it on a record player?  What would it sound like?

Making a photograph is beyond my skill set, but there is a Morse Code translator on the internet.  According to it, this side of the building is the letters “MTRDEE” over and over.
