Inside Perkins + Will

The Chicago Tribune had an article yesterday about the imminent demise of the DeStefano + Partners.  The very prominent firm will cease to exist pretty soon for reasons outlined in the Trib article.

During this year’s Open House Chicago, I had an opportunity to tour DeStefano + Partners’ offices at 330 North Wabash Street.  I declined, and instead took a tour of Perkins + Will.  Unfortunately, there wasn’t time for both.

So here are some photos from inside Perkins + Will, the architecture firm in the old IBM Building that IS staying together.  The only thing they have in common is the use of a plus instead of an ampersand.
