The former Esquire Theater being converted into retail space

Another big thanks to our Gold Coast Spy who e-mailed us this cameraphone shot of the construction on the Esquire Theater (58 East Oak Street).  

You’ll recall that after several years of being empty, the former cinema is being chopped up into seven retail spaces.  We’ve heard a couple of names that are interested in space in the building, but are holding off on mentioning anything until we get a second source.  So far, they’re all Oak Street-appropriate.
