Block37 - 22 West Washington Street

  • Globe Street reports that the office tower portion of Block37, known as 22 West Washington, has been bought by Prudential Real Estate Investors in New Jersey for $183.5 million.
  • A web site called Out of the Storm News muses about Chicago’s skyline, and posits that Chicago, not Columbus or Hartford, may be the capitol of America’s insurance industry.
  • Demolition over at Fourth Presbyterian Church (125 East Chestnut Street) has unveiled the west facade for the first time in 50 years.  Check out the gargoyles and other details on the church’s Facebook album.
