It’s Beginning to Look a Lot Like Christmas (2011 edition, part 13)

CTA Santa Train

The CTA Santa Train (officially the Chicago Transit Authority Holiday Train) blows into the Blue Line Washington Station late one night, much to the delight of those on the platform.  It’s a wonderful Chicago tradition that amazingly, hasn’t been copied by other cities.  Unfortunately, we weren’t in the right position to get  a picture of Santa as he whizzed past (facing backwards) on the flatbed car.
