111 West Wacker: Then and Now

After we published our article about the new plan for 111 West Wacker going before the city on June 21st, we received a request from Don Dobrez Jr. on our Facebook feed:

Would be nice to see a side by side comparison with the original plan

Sure.  We can do that.

Here’s that magic slidey thing that we used in our story last year New Flagship Starbucks Cuts Wood, Stacks Bricks to illustrate changes to the new Starbucks on Rush Street in the Gold Coast.  Just grab the middle handle with your mouse and slide it left and right to see the difference between the old 92-story Waterview Tower rendering and the new 111 West Wacker rendering.
