It’s Beginning To Look A Lot Like Christmas, 2012 – Part 6

CTA Holiday Train 2012

The Santa Subway pulls out of the CTA’s Library station in a blur of Christmas lights and goodwill.  Officially called the CTA Holiday Train, it is a cherished tradition in Chicago.  So cherished that it appears to have acquired sacred cow status.  When the CTA threatened to cancel its runs a couple of years ago due to budget cuts, it was brought back after public and political outcry.

To find out when the Santa Subway will be in your neighborhood, check the CTA Holiday Train web page.
