Construction Update
Hubbard Place Tops Out

Hubbard Place - Chicago, Illinois - May, 2013 - 001

Hubbard Place under construction

Hubbard Place (360 West Hubbard Street) has finished punching its way into Chicago’s skyline, and now has a commanding presence on the edge of the Chicago River, across the street from the East Bank Club.  The River North apartment tower topped out this week, and also began leasing units for October occupancy.  Like nearby Kingsbury Plaza (520 North Kingsbury Street), its taller sister a few blocks north, Hubbard Place’s location and height (43 stories) give it an immense amount of visibility, especially to anyone driving into town on the Ohio Street Bridge.   Also, none of the recently charming old warehouses in the neighborhood had to die for this skyscraper.  It replaced a surface parking lot.
