A new Loop Spy sent this picture in of what appears to be the alley that runs through the former Carson Pirie Scott Store at the Sullivan Center (33 South State Street) in The Loop.  You’d think that there would be some kind of brotherhood between bits of scrap metal — an old, rusty sign and an old, rusty truck.  But apparently the truck has decided to betray that trust.

The truck is probably there helping with demolition and rebuilding work being done on the ground floor of the building’s southeast corner where a new eatery is being built.
