Slice of Life: Willis Skywalker

Jupiter Ascending stunt at Willis Tower

One of our writers, Bill Motchan, caught this stunt being filmed next to the Willis Tower (233 South Wacker Drive) in the West Loop over the weekend.

Movie makers have been working all summer on a big production called Jupiter Ascending, and nights and weekends around The Loop have been filled with helicopters and camera crews.  For the number of locations and days of filming, the production has been remarkably well-behaved compared with other recent movies which have been far more disruptive.

Keep you eye out for the occasional Hollywood star, as according to published reports, they tend to lunch in the River North and Near North neighborhoods.
