One of the great things about Open House Chicago is that it’s an opportunity to explore neighborhoods you don’t get to as often as you’d like.  Fortunately, Man_ofSteel managed to get down to Hyde Park to see the Hyde Park Bank Building.

When it was built in 1929, it was the largest bank in Chicago outside of The Loop, and was named a city landmark in 2008.
