▶ Prentice Hospital Demolition the Subject of an Independent Film [Video]

As the former Prentice Womens’ Hospital is slowly reduced to a memory by demolition crews,  independent filmmaker and former Northwestern University student Nathan Eddy has posted a short film online about the failed preservation effort called The Absent Column.

Eddy says, “We premiered the film at the Durban FIlm Festival and it also screened at the Rotterdam Architecture Film Festival and the Architecture & Design Film Festival New York.”

The film runs a little under eight minutes. You can watch it above.  Enjoy!
