One thing is slowly leading to another at 200 North Michigan, the five-story office building soon to be replaced with a 40-story residential tower called… 200 North Michigan.
Between snowstorms this past weekend, Loop Spy Ryan caught a JCDecaux crew removing the street furniture from in front of 200 North Michigan, a sign that concrete barriers could soon go up so that the existing building can come down. He sent in pictures of the newspaper stand bring hoisted onto a truck and taken away.
As of last week, no demolition permits have been issued, but we’ll keep an eye out for you.
