Blue Buildings Beam (The Bean, Too) On World Autism Awareness Day

Cloud Gate lit in blue

If you’ve noticed a bit more blue during the evenings since April 2, it’s not your imagination. World Autism Awareness Day was marked in Chicago and around the world with buildings lit up blue.

Nearly 140 buildings in The Loop and downtown were blue. Many of those buildings will remain blue through the week and beyond.

At The Bean, a local Autism Awareness group held up signs—blue in color, naturally.
