We’re learning more about the new residential tower proposed to go up along the Eisenhower Expressway in West Town.  A public meeting is scheduled for tomorrow night (April 9, 2014) at 6pm at the Merit School of Music (38 South Peoria Street) to officially release the details, but one of our spies took advantage of our Tip Line and provided us with the following information and pictures:

    Easy access, plenty of room for growth, great views, and really no reason for NIMBY to have any issues.

  2. What are the chances West Loop NIMBY’S tear this proposal apart because it’s west of Halsted and taller than 10 stories?
    What are the chances the West Loop residents decide having towers along Van Buren is good since it will block out noise and pollution from I-290 similar to the high rises along 90/94?

    Can you pretty please report back to us on how the meeting went tomorrow?
