WTTW Working on Another Architecture Documentary

The Chicago television station that brought us Ten Buildings That Changed America, and continues to bring us the historically addictive Ask Jeffrey segments during Chicago Tonight, is putting together another architecture documentary series.

“Ten That Changed America” is a look at the places and people who shaped the built environment we experience today.  This time host Geoffrey Baer and producer Dan Protess take us beyond the spectacular towers that are so obvious, and introduce us to the houses, towns, and even parks that we don’t even realize have affected our lives.

Check out the promo video below to get a taste of what’s coming.

Editor’s Note: Before this project was given the green light, Mr. Protess contacted me for suggestions and background information.  I don’t think I was all that helpful to him, but I thought I should mention it in the interest of full disclosure.
