▶ ICYMI: Chicago in the 1940’s

In case you missed it the first time this video made the rounds on social media on YouTube, it’s now seeing a resurgence of interest since it’s been posted to Vimeo as well.

Still, it’s a great tour of the Chicago of yesteryear that, just as the city was reaching what some consider its peak.  It was created by the Chicago Board of Education at a time when schools not only taught civics, but also civic pride.
