Back in April we told you about 460 West Chicago Avenue, a 30-story residential tower with 260 residences planned for the northeast corner of West Chicago Avenue and North Cambridge Avenue.
The building was scheduled to go before the Chicago Plan Commission five months ago, but got yanked off the table at the last minute. Since then it’s gone through at least two revisions, one in July and another just a few days ago. Here’s what it looks like now:
- Residences: 200 (down from 214, down from 260)
- Parking: 186 spaces (up from 160)
- Stories: 23 (down from 27)
- Height: 242 feet (down from 305)
The developer on the documents earlier this year was listed as Davis Lakefront. Now it’s Cleveland+Chicago Residential. Either way, the architecture firm remains the same: VOA Associates. Here’s a look at the before (July 7, 2015) and after: (September 9, 2015):
Lots of buildings are being rushed through these days, so expect this to hit city hall sooner rather than later.
