Now that 1000 South Clark Street has topped out, construction crews have set about the task of making it hospitable for residents before the spring thaw is upon us.
Just over a year after work began, the Hartshorne Plunkard Architecture design has reached its ultimate height of 29 stories. Now the work begins on turning those floors into the 469 units JDL Development plans to deliver to the South Loop starting in February, 2016. Those apartments will include studios, one-, two-, even three-bedroom penthouses with private terraces.
And being JDL’s largest and most ambitious rental property to date, they’ll be including top-notch amenities for ultimate resident comfort. The 43,000 square feet of common amenity space will include a party room with exhibition kitchen, basketball and racquetball courts, a golf simulator, indoor pool, fitness center, and spa. Four-legged denizens will enjoy an on-site pet hotel and dog park.
