Construction Update
Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management

Kellogg School

Looking north across the pond at the new Kellogg School of Management.

Back in September, we left the friendly confines of Chicago and ventured up north to Evanston. There, Northwestern University was opening the new Patrick G. and Shirley W. Ryan Center for the Musical Arts. While admiring that new structure, we noticed NU isn’t done building.

Just to the north of the Ryan Center, along the shore of Lake Michigan, is another major construction project. Northwestern is building a new Kellogg School of Management facility. Expected to open late next year, the new Kellogg School will house the full time Kellogg MBA program and the Department of Economics, both currently located in the Jacobs Center on Sheridan Road. Comprising approximately 415,000 square feet, and designed by Toronto firm KPMB Architects of Toronto, the new building aims to achieve LEED Silver certification.

We took advantage of a beautiful sunny day to snap a few photos of the Power Construction crews in action.
