Construction crews have begun turning the site formerly home to Saint Dominic’s Catholic Church into the newest project by Belgravia Realty Group. Sedgwick at Locust (367 West Locust Street) will be a 6-story condo building with a 52-car parking garage, with electric charging.

Designed by Sullivan Goulette & Wilson Architects, the new development will boast 44 units in total, consisting of 2-bed/2-bath units starting in the mid $400s (that’s thousands) and 3-bed/3-bath units that will begin in the high $600s. Residents will have a roof deck to share, while balconies and outdoor terraces will be part of the individual homes. Features will include Italian cabinetry and stainless steel appliances in kitchens, as well as on-site storage for household goods and bicycles.

This is a busy neighborhood. Floors are being added rapidly to the growing Next tower just to the south, and it was while visiting for groundbreaking of Niche 905 to the east across Orleans street that we stopped by Sedgwick at Locust to snap a few photos as foundation work was underway.
