1001 South State is one of those construction projects that just has it. Whatever it is. So much so that we can’t stop looking. We’ve told you a whole bunch of times about this South Loop apartment tower, but here’s a very quick rundown:
Solomon Cordwell Buenz designed it
Golub & Company, along with CIM Group, developed it.
Walsh Construction is building it.
Chicago Architecture is taking pictures of it. Lots of pictures of it. Here are a few more of them, as 1001 South State, now topped out at 41 stories, hustles towards completion of its 397 apartments.
- That pretty yellow Walsh Construction tower crane is gone, but we’ll always have this photo.
- Someone’s already getting laundry done up there.
