Construction Update
Fulton Market High Rise Tops Off

The high rise at 215 North Peoria Street has risen just about as high as it can.  Fulton East, designed by the Lamar Johnson Collaborative for Parkside Realty, recently topped off at 12 stories.

It’s not the largest or most dramatic building to go up in this slice of town in recent years, but it’s another lace in the shoe that helps West Town march toward its new identity as an office hub, and to forget its past as the butcher for the city of big shoulders.

When the building is complete in the middle of next year, it’s expected to have 5,000 square feet of retail space; 90,000 square feet of office space, complimented by balconies on each floor; and an 8,000 square foot private roof deck so lush it’s described as a “landscaped rooftop park.”
