Six dozen new condominiums are on the way to Chicago’s Near West Side, as Belgravia Group has broken ground on CA6, its newest residential project. The building at 305 South Racine Avenue is expected to be complete next year.
While some developers are embracing so-called “micro apartments,” this is one of the new Chicago residential buildings that understands downtown dwellers aren’t just college students. When you add good-paying tech jobs to a neighborhood, whole families — and even extended families — often accompany those jobs.
To that end, CA6’s floorplans start at three bedrooms and three baths, and run up to four-bedroom duplexes with rooftop terraces.
Belgravia says 45% of the units were already sold by the start of construction.
