Are You Fan Enough to Change Your ZIP Code?

If you’ve ever wanted to live so close to Wrigley Field that it makes more sense to walk to a Cubs game than to take the Red Line, then it’s time to start finding new homes for your potted plants. Wrigleyville Lofts is now pre-leasing apartments so that you can pre-live there before the first people move in this fall.

The apartment building is at 949 West Dakin Street, which makes it just one block north of Wrigleyville, but still close enough that you only have to walk 13 minutes to be friendly confined.  If for some unlikely reason you might want to go somewhere else, it’s less than a block from the CTA’s Red Line Sheridan station, and both the Irving Park and Sheridan buses.

The Sullivan, Goulette & Wilson Architects-designed soft loft building is seven stories tall with 108 apartments.  Prices start at $1,700 per month for 640 square feet.

Standout features include a real-time CTA status board in the lobby so you know how big a fib you need to explain why you’re late for work, and the return of the Lakeview Ace Hardware store on the ground floor, which is great because for some reason retailers forget that people in urban ZIP Codes need hardware, too.
