Construction of a new residential tower is underway in Chicago’s Gold Coast. Groundbreaking ceremonies were held for 4 East Elm (1147 North State Street/4 East Elm Street) earlier today. Designed by friends-of-the-blog, Solomon Cordwell Buenz, the 335-foot-tall, 27-story tower will feature just 35 residences.
